Job Title: CNC Machinist (5-Axis) – 2nd Shift Location: West Fort Worth, TX Pay: $26 - $27/hr Schedule: Training: 1st Shift, Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (for a couple of weeks) Regular Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM Overtime available as needed Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist with advanced 5-axis experience to support critical machining operations. This role requires a top-tier candidate who can work independently, maintain precision, and uphold high-quality standards. Due to the complexity and importance of the equipment, initial training will be conducted on 1st shift before transitioning to 2nd shift operations. Key Responsibilities: Operate and set up CNC 5-axis machines Perform tooling setup and adjustments Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Utilize precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.) Maintain tight tolerances and ensure high-quality output Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments Work independently during 2nd shift with minimal engineering support Qualifications: Extensive experience with CNC machining, specifically 5-axis equipment Strong setup and tooling experience Proficiency in blueprint reading and GD&T Skilled in the use of precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) High attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision Ability to complete required training on 1st shift Additional Information: This position supports a highly critical machine operation Candidates must be dependable and capable of handling responsibility independently Overtime may be required based on production needs By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from CornerStone and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
