MRB Engineer
Job DescriptionMRB Engineer supports Aircraft production by rapidly evaluating nonconforming metal and composite structure and issuing clear, traceable dispositions that protect quality and schedule.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate nonconforming metal/composite structure (fuselage, nacelle, pylon) and determine root cause/impact.Create, document, and release MRB dispositions (repair, rework, use‑as‑is, scrap) per Aircraft procedures.Interpret 2D drawings and CATIA V5 models to confirm requirements and allowable limits.Partner with Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and PSE to clear holds and restore build flow.Provide disposition status and MRB KPIs per Aircraft reporting cadence.Use 2D drawings and CATIA V5 to confirm requirements and allowable repair/use-as-is.Coordinate with Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and PSE to resolve nonconformance and clear holds.Provide MRB status/KPI inputs per Aircraft cadence.Required Skills and QualificationsMRB engineering experience (metallic and composite).B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent engineering degree).Production Support Engineering experience.14 CFR Part 25 aircraft production experience.Ability to interpret 2D drawings and use CATIA V5 in an Aircraft production environment.MRB delegation authority (stamp) preferred.Position requirementsUS Citizen or Green Card holder.2nd shift availability (2:00 pm–10:00 pm CT) to support.At Wichita onsite
