In addition,you'll:Provide positive dining experience by taking orders, delivering meals, fulfilling customer requests, refillingglassesand removing dishes at conclusion of coursesMaintain knowledge on current menu choices,specialtiesand menu deviations.Help customers in dining selection by suggesting dishes, explaining housespecialsand answering questionsregardingfood preparation and ingredients.Responsible for totaling charges, issuing checks, processingpaymentsand issuing receipts.Properly skilled to suggestappropriate winesand other beverages to go along with customers' meals.Prepare room for dining by setting tables and refilling condiments.What it TakesAge requirement of 18+requiredHigh School Diploma or equivalent work experience,6+ months ofpreviousserving experience preferredMust be able to obtain TIPS CertificationAbility to move equipment to and from the kitchenExcellent oral communication and customer service skillsAbility to work non-standard hours including nights, weekends and holidays as neededWhatYou'llReceiveAt Sentry, your total rewards go beyond competitive compensation.
