We are seeking a skilled SQL / PL/SQL Developer with strong experience in ETL development, database performance tuning, and data analysis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in building and optimizing data pipelines, working with OLTP/OLAP systems, and supporting data-driven applications in an Agile environment.
Must-Have:
- Skills5–12 years of overall IT experience in data-focused roles
- Strong expertise in SQL and PL/SQL development
- Experience working with OLTP and OLAP systems
- Proven experience in end-to-end ETL development
- Strong skills in SQL/PLSQL performance tuning and optimization
- Solid data analysis and debugging skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL and PL/SQL code
- Build and manage ETL pipelines and workflows
- Analyze datasets to identify performance bottlenecks and resolve issues
- Optimize queries, indexes, and database structures
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and business analysts
- Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Maintain clear technical documentation
- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a SQL Developer / Data Engineer / Reporting Analyst
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience with stored procedures, indexes, views, and functions
- Good understanding of data structures and data models
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- High attention to detail
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SSIS, SSRS, or similar ETL/reporting tools
- Exposure to data validation and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with version control tools (Git, SVN)
- Understanding of data governance practices
