The role involves delivering individualized services to clients focusing on their specific communication and language development goals. After assessing needs and setting clear goals, the approach is engaging, fun, and play based to keep kids motivated as they succeed. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing tailored therapy plans, documenting progress accurately, and collaborating with other team members to ensure the best outcomes. Building positive relationships with clients, families, and other professionals is a key aspect of this position. We work closely with occupational and physical therapists to ensure we are meeting a child's overall developmental needs. Mentorship is provided to therapists as we strive to be constantly learning and improving.QualificationsExperience in developing and implementing therapy or communication plans tailored to client needsStrong written and verbal communication skills for documenting progress and interacting with clients, families, and team membersExperience in working with diverse age groups and addressing a variety of communication challengesKnowledge of evidence-based practices and commitment to ongoing professional developmentAbility to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented settingState Licensure in Speech Language Pathology and Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year
