Based in Lake Zurich, Illinois, we provide therapy in a relationship-based, motivating, and engaging environment designed to meet each child’s unique needs through meaningful learning experiences.We believe therapy should be effective, engaging, and enjoyable—for both the children we serve and the professionals who work here.Position OverviewWise Speech Connections is seeking a full-time, on-site Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing pediatric clinic in Lake Zurich, IL.This role offers full-time flexible core hours and a supportive environment where speech therapists receive mentorship and collaboration opportunities to help children reach their communication goals. We value clinicians who are compassionate, energetic, and passionate about creating engaging, play-based therapy experiences that motivate children and families.Our clinic shares office space with occupational and physical therapists, creating a collaborative and dynamic atmosphere where professionals enjoy coming to work each day.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and assess children with speech, language, and communication disordersDevelop individualized treatment plans and measurable therapy goalsProvide engaging, evidence-based, and play-based therapy servicesCollaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and related professionalsMaintain timely documentation, progress reports, and treatment notesMonitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as neededParticipate in team collaboration and interdisciplinary care planningBuild strong relationships with families through clear and consistent communicationQualificationsMaster’s degree in Speech-Language PathologyCertificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from American Speech-Language-Hearing AssociationIllinois state licensure (or eligibility to obtain licensure)Experience working with pediatric speech and language disordersStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team-based environmentPassion for child-centered, relationship-based care
