🚨 We're Hiring: Health Info Coder II (Remote with Initial Onsite Training) 🚨We're looking for an experienced Health Info Coder II to join a leading healthcare organization on a 9-week contractwith the possibility of extension.📍 Location: Primarily Remote (Los Angeles, CA)📍 Mandatory Onsite Training: First 2–4 weeks at UCLA – 1145 Gayley Ave, Suite 391, Los Angeles, CA 90024🕗 Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM💲 Bill Rate: $74/hourRequired Qualifications:✅ 2+ years of medical coding, billing, and abstracting experience✅ One of the following certifications:• CCS• CPC• CHONC✅ Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, medical terminology, and anatomy✅ Experience with physician clinic revenue cycle, professional fee coding, and multi-specialty billing✅ Familiarity with payer guidelines, documentation review, and coding complianceKey Responsibilities:✔ Charge Capture✔ Claims Analysis & Evaluation✔ EHR/Rx Validation✔ Governance & Compliance✔ Denial Management✔ Medical Record Validation & Coding✔ Ensure compliance with CMS, AHIMA, AAPC, and regulatory standards⚠ Important: Candidates must be local to the Los Angeles area and able to attend the required onsite training for the first 2–4 weeks—no exceptions.📩 Interested or know someone who would be a great fit?
