Receiver I-1st shift
Overview: This position will specialize in procedures and functions for and within the Receiving Department. Adhering to all Baldor procedures and policies, Food safety SQF & personnel safety procedures, programs and policies. Responsibilities: Schedule depends on required days to work (start time to be determined)Extra day(s) as required (start time to be determined)To effectively consolidate all functions of the Receiver functions in Baldor New YorkTo perform all duty functions assigned to be completed in the Receiving department in a timely and effective manner a) Examine condition of product as it arrives from vendor b) Confirm counts and qualify all paperwork for each Specific Purchase Order is in Compliance to the companies Rules and Regulation. c) Document overage, shorts, damages, expiration dates, product temperature, trailer condition, evidence of pest infestation and/or product tampering d) Basic computer skills, High Urgency to complete tasks and be able to multi task frequently. Adhere to all Receiving SOPsGive feedback on all issues to Receiving supervisorAlertReceiving Supervisor of any food safety or security issuesTo follow all the Safety and Food Safety HACCP & Personnel Safety guidelines. a) To adhere to all HACCP & SQF standards set forth by Baldor b) To adhere to all Safety standards c) Report any accidents and safety concerns to the supervisor Keep an open communication with your supervisor to resolve any issues based on Inspection / Receiving dutiesEnsure tasks given to be completed are completed in the time frame directed by supervisorAny other responsibilities to be fulfilled as assigned by the company. Qualifications: Must be proficient in operating an RF ScannerReceiving Process / Produce Knowledge Bilingual in Spanish preferredExtreme attention to detailExcellent communication skillsPrior warehousing experience in a food environment preferredAble to read and write legibly; able to follow orders; able to work with little direct supervisionMust be able to work 5 days: 6:00am-2:30PMAbility to work on your feet for most of the day, repetitive bending, lifting up to 50 lbs.Able to work in cold warehouse environment (36F 38F) Education:High School or equivalent
