Construction Superintendent

Our work is fast-paced, detail-oriented, and built on strong coordination between the field and project teams.This role offers real responsibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to grow with a company that is scaling quickly.What You’ll Be Responsible ForLead all on-site construction operations from mobilization through closeoutManage and coordinate 30–60 subcontractors and field personnelDrive and actively manage the project schedule, including participation in lookaheads and sequencingMaintain daily logs, manpower tracking, and site documentation in ProcoreRead, interpret, and execute based on architectural and engineering drawingsIdentify existing conditions and proactively resolve issues before they impact the projectCoordinate closely with the Project Manager on logistics, sequencing, procurement, and schedule updatesMaintain a clean, organized, and well-controlled job site in line with company standardsEnforce safety protocols, conduct toolbox talks, and maintain safety documentationCoordinate and manage all required inspections and ensure timely sign-offsWhat We’re Looking ForProven experience as a Superintendent on retail or commercial interior projectsAbility to run a job site independently and make real-time decisionsStrong leadership presence with the ability to control subcontractors and drive productionAbility to read and fully understand construction drawings (architectural, MEP, structural)Strong understanding of project scheduling and sequencingAbility to identify issues early and solve problems proactively in the fieldClear communicator who can coordinate across field teams, PMs, and ownershipExperience working in NYC construction environmentsStrong understanding of: Tight site logistics and limited staging Working in occupied buildings Delivery coordination and vertical transportation Familiarity with DOB inspections, permits, and closeout requirements Ability to manage both union and non-union subcontractors Active OSHA 62-Hour SST certification requiredTechnical & Systems RequirementsAbility to manage and track schedules and contribute to overall project sequencingExperience with Microsoft Project is a plusProficiency in Procore for: Daily logs Photos and documentation Coordination with PM team (schedule, RFI's , Submittals...etc)Ability to follow structured project workflows aligned with company SOPs, including:Daily reportingSafety trackingInspection coordinationTwo-week lookahead planning Preferred QualificationsBackground in carpentry or a hands-on tradeExperience delivering high-end retail or flagship commercial projectsExperience working in fast-track project environmentsWhat You’ll GetCompetitive salary based on experience401(k) with company matchHealthcare contributionCell phone allowancePaid time off (PTO)Paid holidaysOpportunity to work on high-profile, design-driven interior projectsReal growth potential as the company continues to scaleDirect exposure to leadership and decision-making
