Police-Community Service Specialist (CSS)

Under general supervision, the Community Service Specialist (CSS) is a non-sworn employee assigned to the Police Department who reports to either sworn officers of any rank or non-sworn supervisory employees. Under general supervision, performs a variety of routine, non-hazardous work at the Police Department and in the field, provides and acquires information, makes reports, performs crime prevention duties, issuance of police supplies and auxiliary police duties.About the Organization: McAllen is one of the fastest growing cities in America with a population alone close to 148,000.
