From developing cutting-edge technology to ensuring the well-being of our Airmen, your work will have a global impact.The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for full time Operations Research Analyst (GS-1515-13) to work at Robins AFB, Georgia.The 17 EWS is a unit standing up to assess electronic warfare and spectrum operations at the integrated level, including EW effects on the enemy, interference on friendly systems, and friendly signature in the EM spectrum. e.g, how did blue's integrated EW plan affect red, how did red's EW, blue or gray interference affect blue EW/EMS systems, and how does red see blue in the EM spectrum. You’ll do this predictively in support of plans, near-real-time in support of ops, or as a traditional retroactive assessment to find areas of improvement. As our senior analyst, you’ll mentor our military analysts & work with cross functional intel, rated, and engineer teams to develop our assessment processes, training, standard products, etc. while researching ops & intel data feeds from multiple AORs and developing pipelines & tools.You apply them to assessing ops or exercises or developing assessment plans during the exercise life cycle. Additionally, you will be able to collaborate with the co located 501 EWS - standing up to perform modeling and simulation for our mission - for more advanced technical M&S projects.In the office, you'll work in a mixture of unclassified, secret, SCI, and SAP environments. You'll also go TDY for exercise/ops support, training, and development as discussed in the TDY section.
