Materials Process Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Process Engineer with expertise in Materials Science to drive product development, process control, and continuous improvement in a GMP environment. Requirements: BS degree in Engineering (Chemical, Materials, Mechanical or related) 5+ years of related experience Strong knowledge of PET and Polypropylene Experience in packaging development Proficient with MS Office tools; experience with ERP & QMS systems Preferred Skills: Extrusion experience (preferable "sheet extrusion") Responsibilities: Devise plans to qualify new products and materials Support capital equipment projects and train production personnel Analyze trends for process control and troubleshoot issues Identify improvement opportunities using Lean and Six Sigma tools Coordinate product design and tooling to meet deadlines Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
