Shipping Specialist

Job Summary – Shipping Specialist (Retail) The Shipping Specialist is responsible for accurately and efficiently processing outgoing shipments for a retail store. This role ensures customer orders are packed, labeled, and shipped on time while maintaining inventory accuracy and following company procedures. The Shipping Specialist works closely with the sales, inventory, and receiving teams to support smooth daily operations and a positive customer experience. Key Responsibilities Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and on schedule Prepare shipping labels and documentation using carrier systems Verify order contents and inspect items for quality before shipment Maintain organized packing and shipping areas Update inventory and shipping records in the system Coordinate with store staff to resolve order or inventory issues Follow safety guidelines and company policies Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Prior shipping, warehouse, or retail experience preferred Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to lift and move packages as required Basic computer skills and familiarity with shipping software a plus Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $12.00 - $19.00 per hour Work Location: In person
