Information Technology Project Manager

We are seeking an experiencedIT Senior Project Managerwith a strong background in deploying globalConfigure Price Quote (CPQ)systems. This contractor role ensures alignment with business objectives, manages cross-functional teams, and drives project execution in accordance with established IT PMO standards. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with Customer Product Management and IT Commercial Enterprise Applications leadership. Familiarity with theTacton platformis a plus, and experience withJiraand Agile development methodologies is required. This is a temporary contract position with an immediate start, running through October 2026 (subject to extension or change). The IT Senior Project Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of initiatives to enhance CPQ capabilities. This includes planning, execution, and delivery of projects on time, within budget, and within scope. Responsibilities span the full project lifecycle, including detailed planning, milestone tracking, stage-gate governance, risk management, and stakeholder communication. Key ResponsibilitiesLead complex IT projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders Develop project charter, integrated project plans, resource and contingency plans, and supporting documentation Manage financial forecasts, budget variance, and scope changes; support budget resolution processes Partner with stakeholders and sponsors to define success criteria, KPIs, and performance metrics Facilitate operational checkpoint activities throughout the project lifecycle Identify, assess, and mitigate high-priority risks and issues Ensure adherence to established project management methodologies and compliance standards Communicate project status regularly through clear, accurate, and professional reporting Serve as a subject matter expert, providing updates and insights to key stakeholders Represent projects in governance meetings and cross-functional forums Define and track milestones; maintain an integrated delivery roadmap Ensure projects meet defined success parameters and KPIs Develop realistic resource plans aligned with project needs and skill requirements Manage requirements, risks, issues, and decisions; remove barriers and escalates when necessary Collaborate with program management on reporting and overall project status Risk and opportunity management Cross-functional collaboration Strong communication and stakeholder engagement Accountability and ownership mindset Advanced project planning and execution Leadership in matrixed environments Required Qualifications10+ years of project management experience delivering IT projects, including large-scale global implementations Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Proven leadership skills, including team mobilization, conflict resolution, and decision-making in ambiguous environments Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage all organizational levels Strong influencing and negotiation capabilities in a matrixed environment Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills; ability to build trust with stakeholders Ability to perform under pressure, adapt to change, and manage uncertainty Strong business and technical acumen (Finance, Source-to-Pay) Experience leading virtual and global teams Proficiency in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies Experience managing technology projects Advanced PowerPoint skills (design and functionality) Expertise in MS Project (planning, scheduling, dependency tracking, critical path) Proficiency in MS Teams Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Excellent time management and multitasking abilities Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal) PMP certification (Project Management Institute) Agile certification Flexibility to work across time zones to support global teams Preferred QualificationsExperience leading CPQ system implementations#J-18808-Ljbffr
