Electronics Assembly And Packaging AssociateThis temporary role focuses on assembling and packaging small electronic sensors in a production environment that supports defense-related projects. You will work with mechanical and electronic components, follow detailed instructions, and help ensure that all products meet quality and reliability standards.ResponsibilitiesAssemble small electronic sensors using mechanical and electronic components according to written and verbal instructions.Perform detailed component assembly, including handling small parts and using hand tools throughout the day.Package assembled sensors carefully to ensure they meet quality and safety standards for shipment.Follow established production and assembly procedures to maintain consistency and accuracy.Inspect components and finished products for defects or irregularities and report any issues promptly.Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient production.Stand for extended periods and lift items as needed to support continuous assembly and packaging activities.Adhere to all workplace safety guidelines and use tools and equipment correctly.Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality to support daily production schedules.Essential SkillsExperience with assembly or production work, preferably involving mechanical or electronic components.Ability to perform mechanical assembly tasks using hand tools for extended periods.Comfort working with small electronic components and performing electronic or component assembly.Capacity to stand on your feet all day and perform frequent lifting as part of the job.Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate assembly and packaging of sensors.Reliable and consistent attendance.Ability to follow instructions and established procedures in a production environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrior experience in electronic assembly or component assembly is beneficial.Familiarity with production or manufacturing environments.Ability to work independently while meeting productivity and quality expectations.Willingness to learn and adapt to specific assembly processes and standards.Why Work Here?You will work in a quiet, climate-controlled facility that offers a comfortable and focused environment with both air conditioning and heating. You will be on your feet all day, performing lifting throughout your shift and using hand tools continuously to complete assembly tasks. The schedule runs Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The environment is structured yet relaxed enough to allow you to listen to music while you work, supporting focus and comfort during repetitive assembly and packaging activities.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of La Vista, NE.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
