Preschool/Pre - K Teacher Assistant?
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool students
- Provide a nurturing and safe environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in students
- Use effective behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior in the classroom
- Collaborate with parents and communicate regularly about student progress and development
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Ensure the health and safety of all students at all times
Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and maintain discipline
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with young children
- Creativity and the ability to engage students in interactive learning activities
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in a formal or informal setting (e.g., babysitting, nannying)
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of students
Note: A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred but not required. However, relevant experience working with young children is essential.
