Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of recent Med Surg Rehab experience License: Vermont RN License or Compact Certifications: - Active American Heart Association BLS - Active American Heart Association ACLS Must-Have: - Charge RN experience - Previous travel experience (at least 3 months) Description: Please do not upload a traveler who would like to work in conjunction with another permanent placement or travel assignment. Please do not upload a traveler who is going to request schedule accommodations. May be asked to work as a backup Charge Nurse. Coordinates total nursing care for patients. Participates in patient and family teaching. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel. Maintains standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Experience with electronic medical records is required. Nurse to patient ratio is 1 to 4/5. Average daily patient census is 22. Requested time off (RTO) during the course of this assignment must be noted at submission. No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted. Local travelers are not eligible for this need. This is a small community with no public transport. Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. Profile requirements include a skills checklist that is current within one year. At least one supervisory-signed reference from the past two years of employment is required. Traveler must be willing to float to any unit within their scope of practice. Charge RN experience is required. Profile must include any and all RTO. Call-offs may lead to contract termination after three occurrences. All call-offs must be communicated to the unit supervisor in advance.
