Apply via Dice today!Job Title: Android Developer (W2)Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite/Hybrid if applicable)Job Description:We are seeking a talented and experienced Android Developer to join our team, working on-site at Adobe's San Jose, CA office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-performance, user-friendly Android applications for Adobe's suite of creative and enterprise products.Key Responsibilities:Design, build, and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, UI/UX designers, and QA engineers to define, design, and ship new features.Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.Continuously Client, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of hands-on Android development experience.Strong knowledge of Kotlin, Java, and Android SDK.Proficiency with Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.Strong understanding of version control systems (Git).Experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and performance tuning.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Jetpack Compose and Android Architecture Components.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA.Prior experience working with Adobe products or creative software is a plus.Familiarity with Material Design principles.
