Join our TFS/TAS Operations team in Humble, TX as a CNC Machine Operator.
SUMMARY: Responsible for producing quality parts for customer jobs, according to blueprints and/or supervisor instruction.
In this role you will be accountable for:
Set up, operate, and monitor programs on the Trumpf / TruPunch 5000.
Troubleshoot, adjust, or align equipment to ensure proper operation.
Performing production activities utilizing assigned machine, monitoring individual production levels in relation to anticipated schedule hours and material requirements, and identifying problems or bottlenecks.
Maintain/Sharpen tooling for machining (i.e., dies, tooling etc. for punch), maintain inventory.
Complies with established safety practices and procedures, attends periodic meetings
Performs other duties as assigned
To succeed in this role, you will need:
High School Diploma or GED.
2+ years’ experience in manufacturing (sheet metal fabrication preferred).
Extremely Organized.
Ability to operate a forklift as needed.
Experience operating a Punch Press (TRUMPF).
Ability to communicate in English (both written and oral) as it relates to the job.
Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings and tape measure.
Ability to perform mathematical calculations as required for layout and accurate parts fabrication.
Interpersonal skills as required in communicating with other members of the organization.
