With a strong U.S. presence and a highly skilled international team, they combine operational excellence with a collaborative, service-driven culture.The Houston office is expanding, and this role is a critical hire to support that growth, enhance operational efficiency, and provide long-term continuity for the team.The OpportunityWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting & Compliance Coordinator to support both financial operations and corporate compliance initiatives. This dual-function role is responsible for maintaining regulatory standing across multiple states while also overseeing key accounts payable and expense management processes.The ideal candidate is analytical, discreet, and professional, with the ability to manage sensitive documentation, reconcile financial discrepancies, and interact confidently with senior leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesCompliance & Regulatory AdministrationMaintain and renew state-specific collection licenses and regulatory filingsManage corporate compliance processes including:Certificates of Insurance (COIs)Property tax appraisalsBusiness renditionsEnsure company compliance with applicable state licensing and regulatory requirementsMaintain organized records and documentation related to compliance activitiesAccounts Payable & Financial OperationsSupport and oversee offshore Accounts Payable processesAssist with complex AP issue resolution and 1099 administrationResearch and reconcile financial discrepancies to ensure accurate reportingManage employee expense reporting and resolve related inquiriesSupport payroll administration and other accounting functionsPrint checks and assist with wire/ACH setup and processingServe as a liaison for AP and compliance-related inquiries from leadershipQualificationsRequired Experience & EducationMinimum of 5 years of hands-on Accounts Payable experienceBachelor's degree required (all fields of study considered)Technical SkillsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsExperience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central preferredProfessional SkillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to interpret legal, financial, and technical documentationStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesHigh level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential informationComfortable interacting directly with ownership and senior leadershipWork Environment & RequirementsFull-time, on-site position in Houston near the GalleriaMust be able to work in-office 5 days per weekAbility to sit, stand, walk, and operate standard office equipmentOccasionally lift or move up to 25 poundsQuiet to moderate office environmentBackground check and drug screening required#app#LI-JN2
