Senior Python Backend Engineer (HYBRID)

Senior Python Backend EngineerQuevera is seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Backend Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph in Linthicum, Maryland. As part of the Secure the Enterprise initiative, you will help develop capabilities to shift the current manual system security evaluation and authorization process to a new model that emphasizes automation, streamlined processes and approvals, continuous monitoring and assessment, and network data gathering across the entire life cycle of a project.In this role, you will support the development, testing, deployment, and sustainment of Python-based REST endpoints, microservices, and data model management capabilities utilizing Django and Flask frameworks. These capabilities will interact with data models stored in MariaDB or MongoDB and send requested data in JSON format to UI front ends. You will also provide middleware and backend support to system applications.Job Responsibilities:Develop, test, deploy, and sustain Python-based REST endpoints, microservices, and data model management capabilities.Utilize Django and Flask frameworks.Support capabilities that interact with data models stored in MariaDB or MongoDB.Support the delivery of requested data in JSON format to UI front ends.Provide middleware and backend support to system applications.Minimum Requirements:Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.Python.Docker.Experience using Django or Flask.Database experience using MongoDB or MariaDB.REST endpoint development experience.Experience with the microservice model.All education and professional experience must be in a technical field directly related to the labor category.
