And you can too, so bring your energy to ours.As a member of the Equipment Reliability team, you will be responsible for long-term programmatic solutions to liquids pipeline, processing facilities, and cryogenic pumps across the enterprise. This includes developing models to improve system performance, standards for engineering and Supply Chain, and support for operational issues. The ability to balance multiple projects, resolve conflicts, and participate in industry-relevant committees, groups and panels will be an expectation of this role.Your work will challenge you, and with our Core Values to guide you, you’ll quickly learn and grow with us.Responsibilities/Expectations:Accounts for a diverse range of sophisticated assignments requiring the use of experience, innovation and judgmentMay supervise the work of othersDemonstrates technical expertise in a specialty, geographic area, or operational function and applies specialized knowledge in the effective completion of large-scope projectsPrepares and delivers presentationsAnticipates internal/external customer needs; assesses requirements and identifies solutionsInterprets internal/external business challenges and improves products, processes or servicesCollaborates with teams to ensure compliance, build improvement plans and meet training needsChampions processes, procedures and safety standardsMonitors and controls costs and resources associated with projectsUnderstands the economic drivers of the technical analysis being developed and incorporating them into the design Creates and applies operating performance analysis methods to optimize the value of our assetsUses their knowledge of industry standards (e.g. API 610, API 682, and API 675) to update company standards, policies, and guidance documents Serves as the owner of the enterprise pump program and lifecycle support Other duties as assignedEducation/Years of Experience:Required: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Engineering field from an accredited college or university, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license; A minimum eight (8) years of multifaceted engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industryPreferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and minimum seven (7) years of progressive engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry and PE CertificationOther Requirements:Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as a main priorityProficiency in engineering specialties covering more than one subject areaBroad experience in gas gathering, processing and transmission operations, and project management Preferred: Knowledge of SQL, ladder logic, advanced programming languages (C#, R, Python) PI System experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills, May direct work of other engineers and/or support staff. Activities typically involve assignments of a specialized function or engineering discipline and include technical and economic evaluation, performance testing, design and construction of new facilities, or upgrading existing facilities, and research on new developments.
