Bilingual Japanese/English Project Engagement Lead Consultant (IT industry) (CA/YM)

An IT company is seeking a Bilingual Japanese/English Project Engagement Lead Consultant to join their team in Torrance, CA. This position is responsible for being the primary client-facing contact, ensuring alignment between client expectations and project delivery. Also, oversees project scopes, quality, schedules, and budget in collaboration with the Technical Project Manager and delivery team. The ability to speak/read/write Japanese, a bachelor's degree, 3 years' experience of Project lead and/or communication liaison, and the ability to travel domestically/Mexico once a year is required. This is a full-time, hybrid, non-exempt position with excellent benefits that are provided on the starting date, and 401k.Bilingual Japanese/English Project Engagement Lead Consultant Duties:-Perform initial assessments for each client before the project begins-Analyze client business requirements and propose optimal IT and business solutions and/or guidance of how to lead their projects-Design and manage projects to meet requirements, including expectations, scope, risk, resources-Collaborate with project team(s) in the development and implementation of assigned projects-Develop & maintain project documentation in accordance with project charter.-Communicate and liaison with Client, Partner and Internal Organization members to ensure project progress-Manage multiple projects at a time-Provide business consulting and ERP consulting service to customers-Report status to upper manager-Collaborate with other team members to achieve team goals.-Contribute to improvement of services, revenue/profitability, methodologies and procedures-Build and nurture positive working relationships with clients, colleagues and business associates.Bilingual Japanese/English Project Engagement Lead Consultant Skills:-Must have a bachelors degree in Business, Information System, or equivalent-Must speak Business level Japanese and English-Must have 3 years experience of Project lead and/or communication liaison-Excellent verbal and written communication skills-Excellent organization and planning skills-The ability to travel domestically/Mexico once a year-Experience in management of professional service projects including ERP, cross-functional teams or 3rd party vendors is preferred-Familiarity with a major ERP system (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) is preferred-Familiarity with accounting, operation and/or manufacturing business processes is preferred****If interested, please apply with your most updated resume including your minimum salary requirement and why you left/or are looking to leave your current company. ****Activ8 West- Los Angeles (Japanese Recruiting Company) Recruitment & Solutions / Renaissance Resources Inc., has been a trusted leader in North American recruiting for Japanese businesses for over 25 years.
