Patient Service Representative
We’re looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Patient Services Representative (PSR) for 3-4 months to help keep things running smoothly at a busy dental clinic front desk. This role is all about creating a welcoming experience for patients while handling the day-to-day administrative details that keep the clinic on track.What You’ll DoGreet patients with a warm welcome and help them through check-in and check-outVerify insurance, collect payments, scan documents, and provide receiptsSchedule and confirm appointments for patients and community partnersSend out and collect patient welcome packetsKeep track of unscheduled and future appointments (like re-care visits)Help train and guide student workers at the front deskBuild and maintain the daily patient schedule and share updates as neededManage patient records, including transfers and intake formsMonitor eligibility for discounted fees (e.g., community partners, veterans)Keep the waiting area clean and comfortableBalance and close out payments at the end of the dayStep in to support the Office Manager when neededAssist with collecting patient feedback and survey dataWhat We’re Looking ForStrong people skills and a welcoming attitudeOrganized and detail-oriented, especially with scheduling and recordsComfortable handling payments and basic administrative tasksAbility to multitask in a busy environmentWillingness to support and guide student workersExperience with dental or medical office systems (like Dentrix) is a plus, but not requiredWhy This Role?This is a great opportunity if you enjoy working with people, staying organized, and being part of a team that helps others.
