Application Analyst IIContract — 1 yearCharlotte, NC - 3 days hybridResponsibilitiesProvide technical support for multiple IT application resources to ensure business value, performance, and reliability of technology solutionsOperate in a way that meets annual IT objectives (safety, reliability, cost management, customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction)Promote standard processes and procedures to build a culture of operational excellenceEnsure implementation of integrated processes, products, services, and measures that deliver high value, low cost solutionsWork with teams to manage and resolve service disruptions specific to the portfolioProvide 24/7 support of escalated production issues for critical applications as neededMaintain positive, effective relationships with internal business partners who rely on the team's applicationsCreate a positive, rewarding work environment with growth and development opportunities, including regular feedback, coaching, and goal settingProvide mentorship, coaching, and guidance to team membersCreate internal and external job postings, review resumes, interview, and hire resourcesManage contingent workforce or managed services responsibilities, including staff augmentation contracts and managed service provider statements of workMaintain IT asset ownership data (AD groups, process IDs, file shares, servers, databases, etc.)Ensure adherence to regulatory and IT requirements, including patching and change managementOwn and maintain standards and security exceptions as neededSupport application sustainability, cloud transformation, and data strategy initiatives for relevant applicationsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related discipline, plus a minimum of 5 years of related work experienceIn lieu of a bachelor's degree: High School diploma/GED plus 8 years of related work experienceDesired QualificationsAbility to work hands-on while also leading and prioritizing personnel and resourcesStrong technical adaptability across technologiesExcellent oral and written communication and collaboration skills, able to interact effectively with management, peers, and customersStrong collaboration skills to build effective working relationships with team members and customersAbility to quickly adapt to and comprehend complex technical environments and challengesProven experience managing software support and deliveryStrong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologiesAbility to manage resolution of complex issues spanning technology, vendor, and business concernsStrong multi-tasking, organization, and tracking skillsAbility to communicate clearly, concisely, and accurately, with effective presentation skillsProficiency with SQL and navigating complex databasesFamiliarity with cloud technologies and managing Windows servers hosted in AWS and AzureAbility to read and understand JavaAbility to read Python or other scripting languagesUnderstanding of firewalls and network troubleshooting
