Kforce has a client seeking a Developer III in Boca Raton, FL.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for development of web-based enterprise applications from specificationsResponsible for staying current on advancements in technology, design practices, and architecture, as well as the latest software and networking processes, tools, and methods, and for making recommendations on how these advances can be applied to the current products and engineering practicesWork in an Agile/Scrum SDLCOperate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholdersResolve complex technical issues as necessaryTrain entry-level software engineers as directed by department management, ensuring they are knowledgeable in critical aspects of their rolesDesign and work with complex data modelsMentor less-senior software developers on development methodologies and optimization techniquesAll other duties as assignedRequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related major, or equivalent experience5-8 years of related experience, including prior experience as a programmer in a commercial software development environmentExpert-level development experience using Java, J2EE and Web applications using MVC modelExperience with Web Services, Spring Boot, and JPA frameworksExperience integrating with Web Services (SOAP & REST) and parsing JSON and XML dataExperience designing and operating solutions with relational and NoSQL Databases (Postgres, MySql, ElasticSearch, MongoDB)Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines with Git/GitHub or similar; Jenkins; Nexus, Artifactory, and DockerExperience in working in a cloud environment such as Azure, AWS, or GCPUnderstanding of messaging systems like MQ, Rabbit MQ, Kafka, or KinesisVerbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skillsExpert ability to work independently and manage one's timeTechnical SkillsMust-Haves: Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, Web ServicesJava, J2EE, TomcatSpring, Microservices, Spring Boot, REST API, Hibernate/JPAMySQL, Elasticsearch/Mongo DBWeb Services, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service BusJSON, Azure, DockerBenefitsWe offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees.
