Job Description Position SummaryPrestige Trucking Insurance is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to help design, build, and maintain a secure, scalable CRM platform that supports core business and revenue operations. This role focuses on contributing to the evolution of an early-stage system into a production-ready, enterprise-grade platform built for the operational, regulatory, and data complexity of the trucking insurance industry. The Full Stack Engineer will work closely with technical leadership and business stakeholders to implement features, improve system reliability, and support ongoing platform growth. The ideal candidate brings solid full stack experience, a strong engineering foundation, and a collaborative, product-oriented mindset, with an appreciation for security, reliability, and maintainability.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesContribute to the development of a secure, scalable CRM platform tailored to trucking insurance operationsImplement backend services, APIs, and integrations using modern full stack technologiesBuild and improve front-end applications that are clean, intuitive, and optimized for internal business workflowsAssist in designing and maintaining authentication and authorization systems, including RBAC and MFAApply best practices for data protection, encryption, auditing, and secure system developmentContribute to data model design to ensure consistency, reliability, and support for reporting and analyticsAssist with migrating, restructuring, and normalizing data from legacy CRM systemsSupport integrations with Power BI and other analytics tools for reporting and insightsParticipate in CI/CD pipelines, environment management, and containerized deploymentsWrite and maintain automated tests, including unit and integration testsHelp maintain monitoring, logging, backup, and recovery processesCollaborate with product, leadership, operations, finance, and data stakeholders to support real business workflowsDocument features, technical decisions, and implementation details to support team knowledge sharingKnowledge / Skills / Abilities (KSA's)Full Stack Engineering Skills – Strong ability to build and maintain modern full stack applications with clean, maintainable codebasesBackend Development & API Design – Experience implementing secure backend services and REST APIs using Node.js (TypeScript preferred) or PythonFrontend Engineering & UX Awareness – Experience building responsive frontend applications using React or Next.js with attention to usabilityDatabase Design & Optimization – Solid understanding of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, including schema design and data integritySecurity Awareness – Understanding of secure system design, authentication, authorization, and OWASP best practicesInfrastructure & DevOps Fundamentals – Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-hosted environmentsData & Analytics Support – Ability to structure data and APIs to support analytics and BI tools such as Power BIQuality – Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; applies feedback to improve performanceProductivity – Meets deadlines; manages workload effectivelyCommunication & Collaboration – Communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical team membersProfessionalism – Demonstrates accountability, respect, and reliability in a collaborative work environmentMinimum QualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)3–5 years of professional experience in full stack software developmentExperience building backend systems with Node.js (TypeScript preferred) or PythonExperience developing frontend applications with React or Next.jsExperience designing and consuming REST APIsWorking knowledge of PostgreSQL or similar relational databasesFamiliarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, MFA)Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and containerized environmentsUnderstanding of testing practices and production-ready systemsPreferredExperience building or contributing to CRM or SaaS platformsExperience with Supabase, including authentication and Row Level SecurityExperience integrating analytics and reporting tools such as Power BIExposure to regulated industries such as insurance or fintechFamiliarity with compliance-focused environments (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA)Experience with background jobs, caching, or asynchronous processingPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentOffice-based environment with standard business hoursExtended hours may be required during critical deployments or system milestonesFrequent use of computer systems for development, design, and collaborationStandard business hours are from 9am-6pm.
