Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with at least 2 years of OR experience, Epic proficiency, and Level 1 trauma background for a 16-week travel assignment in Vermont.Job Details• Work setting is a large academic medical center with 500+ beds,• Operating Room (OR) unit serving a broad surgical patient population including general, GU, GYN, ENT, ophthalmology, plastics, laparoscopic, trauma, thoracic, and vascular cases,• CVOR cases are excluded from scrub requirements,• 10-hour rotating shifts covering day and evening schedules; typical pattern is three day shifts plus one off shift,• Off shift options are 0845-1915, 1045-2115, or 1245-2315,• Call requirements include one weekday call per week plus one 24-hour call per four-week schedule block,• Schedule runs Monday through Sunday with no block scheduling,• Must be flexible with scheduling to meet unit and patient care needs,• Epic EMR is used and experience is required,Job Requirements• Active RN license in Vermont or a compact state; NY candidates will be reviewed with proof of pending NY licensure,• Current BLS certification required,• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required,• Prior travel nursing experience required,• Experience in a large hospital (500+ beds) with Level 1 Trauma designation required,• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years is required and non-negotiable,• Must be proficient in both circulating and scrubbing roles across all applicable specialties,• Two professional references from a Nurse Manager and/or Supervisor required - at least one from the past 6 months and one from within the past year of employment,• SSN and DOB required for consideration,• Reliable personal transportation is required, as public transportation is not accessible in this area; all-season or snow tires are strongly recommended November through April,Additional Information• Candidate must be able to scrub all OR specialties except CVOR cases, including general OR, GU, GYN, ENT, ophthalmology, plastics, laparoscopic, trauma, thoracic, and vascular,• Circulate and scrub skills checklists must be included for consideration,• Bi-weekly orientations are held on Mondays,• Candidates living within 50 miles (straight-line distance) of the facility are considered local; those 51-100 miles away are eligible at the travel rate,• All employment gaps exceeding 90 days must be explained in the work history,• Complete work history is required, including bed count, EMR system, and facility type for each position listed,
