Job DescriptionJob OverviewWe are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead shop operations and drive performance at our collision repair facility. The General Manager is responsible for overseeing daily production, ensuring high-quality repair standards, managing staff performance, and achieving location revenue and operational KPIs.This role manages both front-of-shop and back-of-shop operations, ensuring efficient vehicle flow from intake through delivery while maintaining exceptional customer service and team performance.RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesOperational ManagementMeet or exceed location revenue goals and key performance indicators (KPIs)Manage shop operations from vehicle intake through delivery to maximize production efficiency and throughputOversee daily production workflow and ensure timely vehicle completionProduction & Workflow OversightAssign repair jobs to Body Technicians and prioritize vehicles for tear down and paintCommunicate daily with Body Technicians, Estimators, and Parts Managers to maintain production flowMonitor shop output and ensure repairs meet company quality standardsCustomer & Estimate SupportAssist teammates during peak periods by greeting customers, checking in vehicles, and writing estimates when necessaryPrepare and finalize DRP complaint estimates after full disassembly and damage discoveryUpdate and lock final estimates as neededQuality & ComplianceEnsure all repairs meet Crash Champions and I-CAR quality standardsVerify all repairs are accurately billed and documentedMaintain back-of-shop safety protocols and proper use of PPETeam Leadership & DevelopmentRecruit, interview, and hire qualified teammates for open positionsProvide coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunitiesFoster a collaborative and high-performance team environmentPayroll & StaffingManage production staff timekeeping and flag-hour proceduresEnsure payroll is processed accurately and on timeOversee PTO, vacation scheduling, and staffing coverageQualificationsKnowledge of the collision repair industryUnderstanding of insurance procedures and carrier requirementsStrong decision-making and problem-solving skillsAbility to lead teams and collaborate effectively to achieve shared goalsDemonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver resultsExperience using estimating software, particularly CCC ONE Total Repair SoftwareProficiency with computers and workplace technologyValid driver's license requiredBenefitsBenefitsCompetitive compensationWeekly pay401(k) with company matchMedical, dental, and vision insuranceOptional elective benefitsEqual Opportunity Employer
