Job Title: General Manager Location: El Segundo, CA General Manager required to join a rapidly growing aerospace company focused on modernizing legacy aerospace and defense manufacturers.Package $180,000 - $250,000 depending on experience BonusEquity Other benefits to be discussedGeneral Manager Responsibilities Lead key customer relationships in aerospace, defense, and industrial sectors, managing RFQs, pricing, and contracts for both standard and custom products. Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts, ensuring ongoing profitability and sustainable growth. Represent the company at industry events and with prime contractors, Tier 1 suppliers, and sub-tier suppliers. Align teams across engineering, operations, and sales to meet customer priorities and delivery commitments. Drive on-time delivery of power electronics products, ensuring quality, reliability, and compliance standards are met. Oversee production of low- to mid-volume power electronics, including prototype and production builds. Manage materials planning, procurement, and supply chain for electronic components and assemblies. Implement lean manufacturing to improve yield, reduce waste, and optimize throughput in a regulated environment. Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and ITAR standards, overseeing documentation, configuration control, and change management. Lead audits to maintain compliance with customer, regulatory, and government standards. Manage P&L performance, driving revenue growth, margin optimization, and cost control. Set pricing strategies for custom and recurring programs, ensuring profitability throughout the product lifecycle. Oversee cost estimation, quoting, and contract economics, ensuring disciplined financial management. General Manager Requirements 5+ years of experience in operations, engineering leadership, or sales within aerospace, defense, or industrial manufacturing. Proven track record of ownership with a strong bias toward action, accountability, and delivering results. Expertise in leading teams within regulated manufacturing environments, ensuring compliance and quality standards. Highly organized and disciplined, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver on deadlines. Background in electrical engineering, power electronics, or related technical fields. Experience with power supplies, power conversion, or power control systems. Hands-on experience in Tier 2–4 aerospace or defense manufacturing environments. Proven experience with P&L ownership or direct responsibility for business unit financials.Commutable or willing to relocate to El Segundo, CA
