Front Desk ASCThe primary responsibilities of this position are to greet patients upon entry and handle daily front office tasks and surgery days. The important function is to assure charts and deposits are accurate and perform ongoing and occasional audits.Prepare charts dailySchedule patients into HST, the ASC computer program, at least 2 weeks out and checked daily for updatesAssist with phone calls to patients at least 3-5 days prior to surgery with financial expectationsOffer patients payment plans if needed per policyCheck in patients Prepare deposits and complete deposit logsFile packing slipsAnswer phones with a pleasant, professional demeanor within 4 ringsScan invoicesScan charting into the EMR systemLog chart audits and patient satisfaction scoresCo-pay collections, invoices, deposit logs, charts, and expected audits completed in timely mannerDemonstrate professional, courteous demeanor with patients, visitors, and staff2 years prior medical office front desk experienceExcellent customer service skillsGood verbal and written skillsProficient with computer programs and office equipmentKnowledge of HIPAA standardsAbility to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced, changing environmentAbility to calculate payment amounts for patient responsibility and co-paysAnalytical and problem solving skillsComputer skills with MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Visio, Project, Sharepoint, etc.).Great oral and written communication, and listening skills.Strong customer service orientation.Experience working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Our ASCs are located in Florida and Texas.
