This is a temporary opportunity with a flexible start date as soon as possible (ASAP) and lasting until the permanent position is filled. Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive anesthesia care to patients undergoing various inpatient surgical procedures. Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Manage and monitor patients throughout the perioperative period (pre-, intra-, and post-operative). Maintain accurate and detailed medical records within the Epic electronic medical record system. Participate in a scheduled call schedule, with both weekday on-site call and weekend remote call options. Qualifications: Board-eligible or board-certified in Anesthesiology. Valid medical license in the state of California (CA) only. Experience working in a fast-paced hospital setting is preferred. Excellent clinical judgment, decision-making skills, and communication abilities. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality patient care. While a permanent California DEA license is preferred, it is not mandatory for this locum tenens opportunity.
