Superintendent (Construction)OverviewThe Superintendent is the on-site leader responsible for managing daily construction activities and ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. This individual serves as the primary point of contact on the job site and is responsible for coordinating subcontractors, enforcing quality control, and driving project completion.Key ResponsibilitiesJob Site LeadershipOversee all day-to-day construction activities at the project siteServe as the primary on-site representative for the project teamCollaborate closely with the Project Manager and Operations leadershipSubcontractor & Vendor ManagementCoordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and trades to ensure project milestones are metEnsure all work is completed in accordance with project scope, specifications, and applicable codesMaintain strong relationships with subcontractors and clients on-siteScheduling & CoordinationDevelop and manage site logistics and trade sequencingProactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts to maintain project timelinesEnsure efficient workflow between trades to maximize productivityQuality ControlEnforce quality standards across all phases of constructionInspect work to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and industry standardsImplement and continuously improve quality control processesProject CloseoutManage punch list items and ensure timely completion of all outstanding workEnsure all project deliverables are complete prior to project turnoverRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or similar field leadership roleStrong knowledge of commercial construction practices, codes, and safety standardsProven experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades on-siteAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsStrong communication and leadership skills✅ Nice to HaveExperience with large-scale commercial, industrial, or data center projectsFamiliarity with scheduling software (Primavera, MS Project, etc.)OSHA certificationCompensation:$60/hr to $70/hr.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
