We're looking for someone who understands the nuances of ASC 606, loves digging into data, and wants to help shape the financial engine of a SaaS company.What You'll Lead & DeliverRevenue Recognition & ASC 606 ComplianceEnsure full compliance with ASC 606 across all SaaS subscription and usage‐based revenue streamsReview customer contracts to determine appropriate revenue treatmentPartner with Accounting to ensure accurate monthly revenue reporting and forecastingMaintain and enhance revenue recognition policies, documentation, and controlsFinancial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)Support monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting cyclesBuild and refine financial models for ARR, churn, retention, and cohort analysisPerform variance analysis and deliver insights that drive performance improvementsPartner with GTM, Product, and Leadership to optimize revenue and margin outcomesReporting, Metrics & Data InsightsPrepare accurate, timely reporting packages for senior leadershipAnalyze SaaS KPIs (ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, pipeline conversion, etc.) to identify trendsLeverage data analytics tools to enhance visibility into financial performanceSupport system enhancements and automation initiatives to improve reporting efficiencyCross‐Functional CollaborationWork closely with Sales, Legal, and Accounting on contract review and deal structuringProvide guidance on pricing, discounting, and non‐standard terms to ensure ASC 606 complianceSupport audit processes and ensure financial integrity across revenue operationsWhat You BringRequired5+ years of experience in FP&A, revenue accounting, or financial analysisDeep understanding of ASC 606 (required)Strong financial modeling and forecasting skillsAdvanced Excel proficiencyAbility to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights clearlyExperience in a fast‐paced SaaS or subscription‐based environmentNice to HaveExperience with SaaS metrics and subscription analyticsFamiliarity with financial systems, BI tools, or automation platformsExposure to contract review, deal desk, or revenue operationsStrong understanding of ARR, NRR, churn, and other SaaS KPIsWhy SaaS Analysts Love This RoleHigh visibility with leadership and cross‐functional teamsOwnership of revenue analytics in a subscription‐driven businessOpportunity to influence deal structure, pricing, and forecasting accuracyA chance to build scalable models, processes, and reporting frameworksFast‐moving environment where your insights directly impact growth
