Project Management experience and/or technical leadership experience within materialsJob DescriptionYou will be the Material & Process Engr Sr for the Low Observable (LO) Materials engineering team which is responsible for advanced systems development, rapid prototyping, and material innovations within the historic Skunk Works program.What You Will Be DoingAs the Material & Process Engr Sr you will be responsible for leading material‑focused engineering efforts that enable F‑22 production and sustainment while collaborating across multi‑disciplinary teams.Your Responsibilities Will IncludeSupport the design, development, fabrication, and testing of low observable materials and systems in a hands‑on engineering environment.Plan and execute material development projects, including formulation, process development, test method creation, qualification, and scale‑up for production.Author material and process specifications and generate comprehensive lab reports documenting experiments and results.Interface with internal and external customers and coordinate with suppliers to resolve technical issues and advance material solutions.Drive manufacturing process development and scale‑up activities, ensuring smooth transition from lab to production.What’s In It For YouWe are committed to supporting your work‑life balance and overall well‑being, offering flexible scheduling options and 3‑day weekends every week. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.Desired Skills Experience working in a Lab Environment or previous experience working in a hands-on and/or manufacturing environment. Familiarity with electrical and magnetic behavior of materials. Experience with electrical, mechanical, chemical material characterization techniques. Experience with data analysis, review, compilation, and presentation. Excellent technical documentation and writing skills for creating/revising material and process specifications, reports, and test plans. Excellent teammate.
