Sterile Processing Tech Location: Burlington, VT Agency: Job.com LLC Pay: $1,600 to $1,850 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job.com LLC is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician for a travel assignment at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, Vermont. This role involves supporting the Central Supply department by ensuring proper decontamination, sterilization, and preparation of surgical instruments and equipment to maintain patient safety and surgical readiness. Responsibilities Perform decontamination, preparation, and packaging of surgical instruments Operate steam sterilizers and low-temperature sterilization systems Process GI endoscopes and flexible scopes following facility protocols Inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical trays and instruments Handle loaner trays and implant instruments Maintain accurate documentation and comply with sterilization standards Float within the department as needed to support patient care Requirements CRCST certification (HSPA) required Minimum 5 years of Sterile Processing experience At least 1 year of experience in a Level 1 academic medical center with 20 ORs Prior travel experience (minimum two 13-week assignments) preferred Experience with: Decontamination, Prep & Pack Steam and low-temperature sterilization Endoscope and flexible scope reprocessing Case picking and sterilization processes Familiarity with Olympus scopes, washer systems, and loaner trays Experience with DaVinci Robot Xi instruments preferred Ilma Shahbaz Call/ text: (512) 201-6582
