Training Specialist
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in creating, revising, formatting, and organizing training documentation, SOPs, work instructions, job aids, and operational learning materialsCollaborate with relevant teams to ensure training documentation aligns with audit and compliance expectationsSupport administration and day-to-day operations of the Learning Management System (LMS), preferably Cornerstone OnDemand or similar platformsPartner directly with Operations teams to observe workflows, shadow technicians and leads, and translate processes into structured training contentSupport updates to content as processes, tools, or regulatory requirements evolveAssist with document control, versioning, and training content organization across systems and shared repositoriesSupport training infrastructure tied to regulatory, compliance, quality, and operational requirementsHelp standardize training templates/content organizationHelp coordinate manufacturing operations onboarding, OJT (On-the-Job Training), qualification tracking, and recurring training activitiesGenerate LMS reports and training metrics to support operational visibility and leadership reportingSupport continuous improvement efforts by identifying gaps in training processes, documentation, and learner experienceProvide flexible support across broader learning and development initiatives as organizational needs evolvePreferred Qualifications2+ years of experience supporting training, operations, manufacturing, quality, compliance, or learning systems environmentsFamiliarity with LMS platforms such as Cornerstone OnDemand, Workday Learning, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar systemsStrong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially around documentation and records managementComfortable working directly on production floors and collaborating with frontline teamsExperience supporting regulated or audit-driven environments preferred (AS9100, ISO, GMP, OSHA, etc.)Ability to learn technical processes quickly and convert them into clear training documentationStrong written communication and documentation skillsComfortable balancing administrative work with cross-functional coordination and field supportProficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and document management systemsExperience with onboarding programs, OJT frameworks, or skills matrices is a plusFamiliarity with instructional design, eLearning tools, or training content development is a bonus
