The role ensures CNAs are trained and prepared to deliver high quality resident centered care in compliance with federal and state regulations that are consistent with center guidelines and policies.In addition, the position:Ensures that all classroom skills lab and clinical instruction meet federal and state regulatory requirements while preparing students for competency evaluation and successful entry into the health care workforce.Maintains program compliance, supports student success and ensures instructional quality aligned with industry standards and workforce needs.Supports survey readiness, quality improvement initiatives and workforce development by assisting with CNA education in centers and may include onboarding, orientation and ongoing in services at the direction of leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsures CNA training program complies with state NATP requirements and federal regulationsMaintains program approval status with the state regulatory bodyEnsures training hours are met (classroom, lab and clinical)Prepares for and participates in state audits, site visits, and program revisionsMaintains all required documentation including but not limited to, student files, instructor credentials and clinical affiliation agreements.Ensures curriculum aligns with state approved content and testing standardsIntegrates hands on skills lab training and simulation exerciseMay conduct direct observation audits of CNAs performance at center locationsMay provide education for nurses and CNAs on site at health care center locationsEnsures competencies are documented, current and survey-readyIdentifies skills gaps and implements targeted retraining plansOther job duties as assigned by Supervisor.Administrative and Operational DutiesManage class schedules, enrollment, and program capacityMaintain training supplies, equipment, and skills lab readinessEnsure testing equipment and environment meet standardsTrack key program metrics:Enrollment and completion ratesCertification exam pass ratesEmployment placement ratesQualificationsRegistered Nurse requiredMinimum experience requirements per state NATP regulations (typically 2 years, with at least 1 year in long-term care)Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care strongly preferred.Teaching, education, or staff development experience preferred.Strong communication, presentation, and instructional skills.
