Internal Medicine Physician in New YorkFull time/PermanentOswego, NYA growing healthcare organization in Central New York is seeking a Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician to join its primary care team. This role is ideal for a physician who is passionate about community care and interested in helping build and grow a new outpatient practice, slated to open in mid-2026 in Northern Onondaga County.Position Highlights: Help establish and lead a brand-new outpatient Internal medicine clinic Deliver comprehensive care to patients of all ages in a clinic setting Assess, diagnose, and develop care plans in accordance with established protocols Obtain complete medical histories, perform physical exams, and order diagnostic testing Make appropriate referrals for specialty care and manage follow-up Work closely with administrative leadership to shape and grow the practice Serve as a clinical mentor and supervisor for advanced practice clinicians Full-time position with a supportive infrastructure and leadership teamIdeal Candidate: Board-Certified in Internal Medicine (MD or DO) 5+ years of experience in an outpatient primary care setting preferred Experience supervising Advanced Practice Providers Excellent communication and patient relationship skills Desire to help grow a practice and build lasting community tiesCompensationHighly competitive salary range of $255 - $275k plus wRVU modelSign-on bonus ($25k), reimbursement for relocation (up to $10k with receipts) and student loans ($30k over length of contract) (if applicable)Competitive paid time off and CME time off (34 days including 6 legal holidays)Comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, 403B, life and disabilityAnnual CME, dues and licensure reimbursement ($5,500)Malpractice paid for Location & Lifestyle: Practice located in Northern Onondaga County, a short drive from Syracuse Access to top-rated schools, parks, and family-friendly neighborhoods Affordable cost of living with a blend of urban convenience and small-town charm Plenty of outdoor recreation, cultural events, and lakeside activities year-round Estimated pay range/amount is $255 - $275k.
