We’re looking for a friendly, motivated Sales Support Associate to join our team.Job SummaryThe Sales Support Associate provides exceptional customer service in a showroom environment specializing in kitchen, bathroom, and plumbing products. This role supports sales staff and customers with product selection, basic design guidance, and sales transactions and assists with daily showroom operations. The ideal candidate has a passion for residential/commercial improvement, attention to detail, and the ability to provide excellent customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Customer ExperienceWelcome customers to the showroom and assess their kitchen or bath project needsAssist with product selection based on style, budget, and functionalityAssist sales staff by preparing quotes for special orders, custom products, and project packagesAssist sales staff with design consultations and follow up on quotes and ordersCustomer SupportAnswer customer questions regarding product specs, lead times, warranties, and careProcess orders, payments, returns, and exchanges accuratelyCommunicate order status and resolve issues with vendors as neededEnsure customer satisfaction throughout the buying processShowroom & Store OperationsMaintain clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom displaysAssist with merchandising and sample organizationEnter orders accurately into point-of-sale management systemsPick and pack orders for customer pickupsSupport inventory tracking and sample replenishmentQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentRetail sales or customer service experience preferredExperience in kitchen, bath, or home improvement retail is a strong assetStrong communication and interpersonal skillsComfortable discussing design options with non‑technical customersAbility to read basic floor plans or measurements is a plusComfortable using computers and point-of-sale systemsPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods in a showroom environmentLift and move samples or displays (up to 25 lbs)Perform light stocking, bending, and reachingAbility to drive to Thompson stores and various customer locationsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly pay Steady, full-time hoursPaid time off and benefits (eligible employees)Opportunities for growth within the company
