Director of Finance (Head Role) @ Global FS Insurance Firm (New York)

Our client is a Global Insurance Asset Management/P&C Firm that has been in High Growth seeking a Head of FP&A professional that will be reporting to CFO. This role will drive their Finance Operations. This professional will be an integral part of the organization working with Stakeholders, Executive Management Team along with business partner with Sales, Operations, and Legal.Responsibilities:Drive Strategic Finance initiatives (Strategy & FP&A, etc)Evaluate potential new business initiatives and assist c-suite in execution and operationsDrive and Manage Budgeting, Planning, Forecasting, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Cash Management, P&L, Month/Quarter/Year-End accounting close, and financial reportsLead monthly company performance meeting for senior leadership teamIdentify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to automate and accelerate the reporting processProtect assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls and proceduresEstablish documentation of policies, procedures and workflow where appropriateSupervise team.Skills/Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Economics is a must,12-19 years out of InsuranceStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, Budgeting, Planning, and Revenue Recognition is neededIn depth experience working with general ledger and financial analysis, including journal entries and doing detailed account analyses.Financial Services and Insurance Companies Experiences is neededProperty & Casualty Insurance experience is needOur client is a total compensation organization where you will be eligible for a base salary and discretionary performance bonus, including benefits. The estimated base salary range for this position is $250,000 - 300,000 plus bonus + Equity
