Senior Project Estimator

Additionally, Scott is a certified City of Philadelphia Class A Demolition Contractor and an Underground Storage Tank Installer and Removal Contractor.This is a full-time, on-site Estimator role located in Norristown, PA. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including analyzing project requirements, performing quantity takeoffs, and soliciting subcontractor and supplier pricing. The role involves collaborating with project managers and other team members to ensure competitive and comprehensive bids. This individual will attend pre-bid meetings, periodic reviews and site visits, as needed. Additionally, the Senior Estimator will assist in developing strategies to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness in project planning and execution.Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.Minimum of 5 years experience in the commercial and industrial construction sectors.Proven expertise in cost estimation, quantity takeoffs, and budget preparation for construction projects.Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, blueprints, and technical documents.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify project risks and opportunities.Experience with Bluebeam, Viewpoint (Trimble) Software and other computer-aided design tools is a plus.401K Retirement Plan w/ Company Matching~100% Employer Paid Health Insurance - 0% Employee Contribution~ Paid Holidays~ Tuition reimbursement programs available to qualifying employees for approved programs~ Company Vehicle/Mileage Reimbursement~ Annual Bonus Commensurate with Performance
