CRNA Opportunity at the Base of Mt. Katahdin - Join a Close-Knit Team! - Located in Millinocket, ME - Full-time, permanent position - 25-Bed Critical Access HospitalPosition Highlights: Provide independent anesthesia care in a supportive rural hospital setting Work with a variety of cases: General Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, Healthy Pediatrics, Pain Management, Podiatry, and Endoscopy Collaborate with a team of general surgeons, orthopedic surgeon, urologist, podiatrist, and pain management physician No anesthesiologist supervision Schedule: Week 1: Monday Friday (no call) Week 2: Monday Friday with call (Monday to following Monday AM) Week 3: Off Responsibilities: Administer anesthesia to patients of all ages in the OR and other designated areas Perform pre-operative assessments and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals Utilize expertise in spinals, epidurals, and be open to learning ultrasound-guided regional blocks Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits Health, dental, vision insurance 403(b) retirement with employer match PTO, CME allowance, FSA Employer-paid long-term disability and life insurance Qualifications: Current Maine RN license and NBCRNA certification BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required Experience with spinals/epidurals preferred Strong customer service skills and composure under pressure Location Perks: Live and work at the base of Mt.
