Travel RN - Med/Surg - Oncology

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Surgical Oncology unit, requiring a minimum of 2 years of acute care experience and an active LA or compact RN license.Job Details• Med/Surg Oncology unit in a hospital setting,• Adult and geriatric patient population,• Patient ratio of 1:6 with an average daily census of 14 across 16 rooms,• Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (3x12-hour shifts),• Every other weekend required,• Agency staff are floated first, typically to similar or lower acuity units,Job Requirements• Active LA or compact RN license required,• Current BLS certification (AHA) required,• ACLS and ONS Chemotherapy certification preferred (AHA-issued where applicable),• Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience required,• Must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position,Additional Information• First-time travelers are welcome to apply provided they meet the 2-year acute care experience requirement,• Royal blue scrubs required,• In the event of an emergency or disaster, staff may be assigned to an emergency response team and expected to remain at the facility until the event passes or serve as part of a relief team,• RTO requests must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process,
