Payment Operations Specialist

BuyMax Alliance®, an affiliate of Authority Brands Inc. is a member organization that provides national buying power to our network of more than 1,200 independent contractors in the home services industry throughout North America.Authority Brands is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Operations Specialist to support our growing Payments Division. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of experience in payment processing and/or consumer financing support. The Operations Specialist will assist in day-to-day operations, support desk activities, merchant onboarding, and data entry tasks related to both payment processing and financing workflows.This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career professional looking to grow their skill set and gain exposure to financial operations in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as a first-line resource on the Payments Support Desk for merchant and franchisee inquiriesAssist with onboarding support for merchants enrolling in consumer financing and payment processing platformsMonitor, log, and track support tickets using internal CRM and ticketing systemsEscalate issues appropriately while ensuring clear and timely communication to internal teams and franchiseesPerform basic data entry and integrity checks related to payment processing setup and consumer financing submissionsSupport report generation and status updates for team leads and managementCollaborate cross-functionally with operations, IT, and support partners to ensure smooth execution of daily tasksStay current on updates to payment systems, lender portals, and internal proceduresQualifications1–2 years of experience in payment processing, customer support, or consumer financingFamiliarity with ticketing systems, CRM tools, and digital support workflowsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environmentEffective communication skills, both verbal and writtenProblem-solving mindset and a desire to learn and grow within the roleProficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferredPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting franchise-based operations or field service businessesExposure to merchant onboarding processes or lender application platformsInterest in fintech or financial servicesWe believe our greatest assets are our employees, we offer competitive salaries and a full benefits package to include, PTO, paid holidays, 401(k) and more.Authority Brands Inc. conducts drug screens and background checks on applicants who accept employment offers.
