Credit Analyst

Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite) Pay: $25/hr Contract Length: Through September/October 2026 with strong likelihood of extensionOverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Analyst to join a high-performing finance organization within a Fortune 30 retail environment. This contract role will support credit risk assessment, account management, and financial analysis activities that directly impact working capital, customer relationships, and overall risk exposure.The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in credit analysis and financial statement evaluation, along with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including sales, treasury, accounting, and customer operations to ensure sound credit decisions and effective risk mitigation.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and process commercial customer credit applicationsVerify customer information including addresses, banking references, and supporting documentationContact customers regarding missing or incomplete application detailsCoordinate with bank references and third parties to support credit verification processesMaintain accurate customer account records in Salesforce and internal systemsDocument customer interactions, updates, and account notesPartner with internal sales teams supporting Pro customer onboardingEnsure timely and accurate completion of account setup processesUtilize Excel and internal reporting tools to track account activity and updatesRequired Qualifications1–3+ years of experience in credit analysis, credit support, AR/AP, finance operations, banking support, or customer account administrationStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExperience handling customer documentation and account informationComfortable communicating with customers and external contacts via phone and emailProficiency with Microsoft Excel and CRM systems such as SalesforceAbility to manage multiple accounts/tasks in a fast-paced environmentPreferred QualificationsPrior experience in a Credit Analyst or Credit Specialist roleExperience supporting commercial/professional customer accountsBackground in retail, banking, financial services, or customer operations environments
