PROJECT MANAGER – STRUCTURAL STEELOur company is seeking an experienced Project Manager for our Structural Steel division.Under the direction of the Vice President, the Project Manager will oversee structural steel projects from contract award through closeout.Responsibilities IncludeReviewing project documents to ensure scope, budget, and schedule complianceManaging detailing, fabrication, and delivery schedulesCoordinating RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and change ordersLeading communication with detailers, subcontractors, erectors, construction managers, and other tradesAttending project and production meetingsObtaining and verifying field measurements when requiredMonitoring project costs and processing subcontractor invoicesIssuing closeout documentation upon project completionQualificationsExperience in the structural steel industry (Construction Management degree preferred)Ability to read architectural and structural drawingsProficiency in Microsoft Office and BluebeamStrong organizational, communication, and multitasking skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentTekla EPM (FabSuite) experience preferredBenefitsCompetitive salaryHealth, dental, and life insurance401(k) with employer match and profit sharingPaid vacation and holidaysFull-time positionSHEPARD STEEL IS AN Affirmative Action / Equal Opportunity EmployerShepard Steel is a structural steel and miscellaneous fabrication company that has been an integral part of the Connecticut construction landscape for over 65 years.
