Someone who is highly organized, has a keen eye for accuracy, and has stellar communication and prioritization skills. The Engineering Administrator will play a critical role in maintaining data and coordinating cross-functional workflows to ensure accurate and timely release of engineering information to both internal and external customers.ResponsibilitiesComplete engineering related documentation including industry certifications, factory acceptance test plans, and inspection test reports with precision; keep track of deadlines and renewalsMaintain digital and physical documentation organization, support engineering with administrative tasksUtilize ERP system to assist managing bills of materials (BOMs), routing instructions, released drawings, and engineering work order updatesCommunicate workflow schedule and updates to stakeholders within the organizationThese are some of the more frequent tasks you could expect to perform during your workday, but you may be called upon to fulfill other duties as needed.Key SkillsCommunication: Interact with peers, team leads, and managers in a kind, positive, and professional manner, because good communication is essential for a successful day; timely and consistent communication, both verbal and written, is critical for this roleTeamwork: Work well with others with an attitude of cooperation and achievement, and commit to the success of the team as a wholeTechnical Aptitude: Familiarity with SolidWorks drafting software and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; ability to quickly adapt to new programs, including the Welker ERP system to handle the clerical aspects of the positionWork Ethic: Excellent organizational and follow-through skills with a highly developed sense of urgency and prioritization; ability to handle multiple complex tasks within tight deadline parametersAttention to Detail: Make a conscious effort to focus on the details and ensure documents are complete, accurate, and thoroughThe Welker team is a diverse and motivated group. These key skills keep our Engineering department running smoothly.QualificationsAssociate degree in an Engineering or Business related field, or equivalent experienceTwo or more years of experience with document control and revision management processesExperience working in a manufacturing environment preferredDoes this sound like you?
