Job Title: Labor and Employment Attorney

Position Overview:
As a Labor and Employment Attorney, you will provide expert legal counsel to clients on a wide range of labor and employment matters. This role involves representing clients in disputes, advising on compliance with employment laws, and handling litigation and negotiations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor and employment law, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to client advocacy.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent clients in labor and employment law matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, wage and hour disputes, and employment contract issues.
Provide legal advice and guidance on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts, policies, and agreements.
Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date with changes in labor and employment law.
Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
Advocate for clients in administrative hearings, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
Develop and implement effective legal strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
Communicate and negotiate with opposing counsel, mediators, and other parties involved in legal proceedings.
Foster strong relationships with clients by providing clear, concise, and actionable legal advice.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in California.
Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience practicing labor and employment law.
Proven track record of handling complex labor and employment cases.
Strong understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with class action litigation and complex employment disputes.
Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a legal team.
Familiarity with emerging trends and issues in labor and employment law.

Pay: $125,759.00 - $150,000.00 per year
