Why Alera GroupMeaningful Impact - Help clients and employees navigate benefits programs that drive retention, engagement, and satisfactionGrowth & Learning - Opportunities to deepen your expertise and gain exposure to a variety of clients and industriesCollaborative Culture - Work in a team-oriented environment that values accountability, partnership, and the principles of The Collaborative WayResponsibilitiesWhat You’ll Do / Your ImpactClient Partnership & Risk StrategySupport Account Managers and Producers in servicing commercial lines accountsAssist with client communications related to policy changes, renewals, and documentationProvide backup coverage for Account Managers during absencesOperational ExcellenceProcess policy changes, endorsements, and updates in the agency management systemRetrieve and review policy documents from carrier portalsCreate and manage proposal documents for new and renewal businessCollect supplemental information and prepare online quotes and submissionsAssemble documents for client signatures and electronic deliveryIssue certificates of insurance accurately and in a timely mannerPrepare finance agreements, premium notes, and related documentationProcess Auto ID cards and Motor Vehicle ReportsHandle invoicing, billing tasks, and insured inquiries related to paymentsMaintain data accuracy through account clean‑up and system updatesStrategic ContributionReview discrepancy reports and make corrections as neededSupport renewal preparation and submission timelinesContribute to efficient workflows and high‑quality service deliveryStay current on Property & Casualty coverages and underwriting practicesQualificationsWhat You BringRequiredMinimum of 1 year of experience in a similar insurance support roleActive Property & Casualty insurance license (or ability to obtain per state requirements)Strong understanding of Property & Casualty underwriting and coveragesProficiency with computers and office equipment, including email and document systemsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesPreferredExperience working in an agency management systemPrior exposure to commercial lines policy processing or renewalsCore CompetenciesDetail orientation and accuracyAccountability and follow‑throughCollaborative mindsetClient‑first thinkingStrong organization and time‑management skillsProactive problem‑solvingAdditional InformationCompensation -Salary range - $50,000 – $65,000 per yearBenefits -Alera Group offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverage, 401(k), generous PTO, and more.Work Model -This role is HybridProfessional Development – Alera Group AcademyAt Alera Group, growth isn’t left to chance.
